Santefruct originates in Falticeni, Suceava, Romania, a region well known for its apple orchards. The fruits here have a unique aroma because of the rich dark soil and the temperate climate. These fruits start their journey on the day they are picked, travelling just a few kilometers to the factory where they are processed. Because the factory works 24/7 during the harvest season, no fruit spends more than 12 hours from the time of picking to the time of processing, this way insuring that none of the aroma or the nutrients is lost.
